Welcome to the TruEmbroidery™ 3 newsletter. This month we will look at how to use TruE™ 3 Studio to easily convert any embroidery design for Endless hooping, so you can quickly stitch nicely aligned borders or repeated embroidery patterns symmetrically across your project.
Icons
The Hoop icon appears in the main Toolbar at the top of the work area in TruE™ 3 Studio. When the Hoop icon is selected, several selection and setting menus help you select a hoop for your embroidery machine, or create a specific hoop size.
TruE™ 3 Studio is part of the TruEmbroidery™ 3 ELEMENTS and TruEmbroidery™ 3 ELITE software packages.
The Brand pop-up menu holds many preset sewing and machine embroidery brands. Once a brand is selected, all available hoop options for that brand will be available.
- The Universal Group contains a generic selection of embroidery hoop sizes and styles.
- All Hoops lists every available hoop within the Brands menu.
The Machine Group pop-up menu helps you select a specific machine within the brand.
The Hoop Size scrolling menu offers most available hoops for the selected machine. Many machine brands have hoops created especially for easy rehooping of designs along the edge of fabrics, commonly called Endless Hooping.
Orientation lets you work with the hoop in a Vertical position (how hoops clip to an embroidery arm on most machines) or Horizontal (rotated 90 degrees counterclockwise on most machines).

If your personal hoop isn’t shown for your Machine Brand, select Enter Hoop Size. Type in Height and Width with either metric or inch settings for the stitch-able area of your targeted hoop, and you can adapt any hoop you own for stitching Endless Embroideries!
